Welcome to Barrie Junk Co. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and services. By using our website or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms and our Service Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Service Agreement. These Terms apply to all users, including customers and visitors.
2. Services Provided
Barrie Junk Co. offers junk removal services at the address provided by the customer. Services include the removal of acceptable items as listed on our website. We reserve the right to decline the removal of items not listed or restricted by law or disposal regulations.
3. Pricing and Payment
Our standard pricing is:

$2.25 per cubic foot for the first 100 cubic feet

$1.55 per cubic foot beyond 100 cubic feet

Minimum charge: $85 per pickup
Some heavy materials (e.g., concrete, bricks, pressure-treated lumber) are subject to double rates due to disposal costs. All fees are subject to HST. Final pricing will be confirmed after reviewing the items on site.
Payment is due within one (1) business day of service completion. Late payments are subject to 5% monthly interest (compounded monthly). We may pre-authorize your payment method and charge it upon completion.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your service at least 24 hours in advance with no penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled pickup may incur a $25 cancellation fee.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You must provide safe, unobstructed access to the removal area. Please identify and disclose any fragile areas, underground utilities, or hazards. You confirm that you have legal ownership or full authority to dispose of all items presented for removal.
6. Ownership and Liability
By requesting our services, you accept full responsibility for the items being removed. We do not verify ownership and are not liable for the removal of items belonging to third parties. You agree to indemnify Barrie Junk Co. for any disputes arising from unauthorized disposals.
While we take great care during pickups, Barrie Junk Co. is not responsible for property damage related to the removal process (including to landscaping, driveways, fences, etc.).
7. Disposal Practices
We aim to donate or recycle as much as possible. Some items may be declined based on disposal restrictions—see our What We Can’t Take page for details.
8. Photos and Media
We may capture before/after photos or time-lapse footage for marketing purposes. These will never include faces, license plates, addresses, or identifying features. If you prefer no photos be taken, please notify us in writing before your appointment.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content (text, logos, graphics, photos) belongs to Barrie Junk Co. and may not be reproduced or used without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barrie Junk Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to deny or terminate access to our services for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and any disputes will be handled in Ontario courts.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
